A small room where nothing can be hidden.

Bathrooms are unforgiving. Everything happens within a few square metres, the waterproofing has to be right the first time, and every tile cut is at eye level.

We treat them as a carpentry job with plumbing attached: the vanity built to the millimetre for the space it sits in, the tile set out so cuts land where they're least visible, and licensed trades scheduled so nobody is working on top of anybody.

Because the room is small, sequence matters more than anywhere else in the house. One contractor holding the schedule is the difference between three weeks and three months.

What's included

What a bathroom renovation covers.

Scope varies by project. These are the elements most bathroom renovations involve — we'll confirm exactly what yours needs before quoting.

01 /

Layout and planning

Working out what the room can take: where fixtures can move, what the existing services allow, and how to gain storage without losing floor space.

02 /

Custom vanities and storage

Vanities, linen storage and built-ins made to measure for the actual dimensions rather than fitted from stock units.

03 /

Waterproofing and tiling

Substrate, membrane and tile set out so the waterproofing is sound and the cuts land where they're least visible.

04 /

Plumbing, electrical and ventilation

Licensed trades coordinated under one schedule, including fixture relocations and the ventilation the room needs.

05 /

Finishing and handover

Fixtures, hardware, paint and a final walkthrough where anything outstanding gets listed and closed.

Common questions

Before you get in touch.

What drives the cost of a bathroom renovation?

Whether fixtures move. Keeping the toilet, tub and vanity where they are avoids reworking drains and venting, which is the single biggest cost lever. After that it's tile area and complexity, vanity construction, and fixture selection.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

Less than a kitchen in most cases, but the sequence is tighter — waterproofing and tile have to cure before the next trade can start. We confirm a realistic schedule in the quote rather than estimating on the phone.

Can I use the bathroom during the work?

Not the one being renovated. If it's your only bathroom, that's worth raising early so we can plan the sequence around it.

Do I need a permit?

It depends on your municipality and whether the work is structural or affects services. We'll tell you what your project needs and handle the process where it applies.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Corey Bowen Construction holds RBQ licence #5730-5286-01 and works with licensed trades for plumbing and electrical.

Which areas do you serve?

Hudson, Saint-Lazare, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Rigaud, Pincourt, Notre-Dame-de-l'Île-Perrot and the surrounding West Island. Just outside? Get in touch anyway.
