The project
A bright, timeless kitchen shaped around warm materials, clean lines, and a custom-built island made for everyday life.
The Bellevue project is a complete kitchen renovation carried out in Hudson, Québec. The homeowners wanted a room that felt open and calm without losing any storage — a space where cooking, homework and conversation could all happen comfortably at the same time, on an ordinary weekday as much as on a holiday.
The work began with the layout. We reviewed the existing structure, re-planned the plumbing and electrical runs, and rebuilt the circulation around a single generous island, so that whoever is cooking is never cut off from the rest of the room. Sightlines to the windows were protected at every step.
Materials were chosen to age gracefully: warm wood tones, a hard-wearing countertop, quiet hardware and a restrained palette that keeps daylight at the centre of the room. The custom island was built by McBain Woodworks, then fitted and adjusted on site so the finished piece sits perfectly level and square.

Our approach in Hudson and Vaudreuil-Soulanges
Planning — Before demolition begins, we set a realistic schedule, a materials list and a detailed budget. The client knows what will be done each week, who will be on site, and which decisions need to be made ahead of time so that nothing stalls the work.
Execution — The work is carried out by a small, consistent crew. The island and surrounding millwork were built by McBain Woodworks, installed and then adjusted on site so that doors, drawers and joints stay aligned over the years.
Finishing — The last stage is the slowest one. Paint, lighting, sealant, hardware adjustments and a full clean-up: this is the difference between a kitchen that is properly delivered and one that is merely finished.
